About SunPDF

Every PDF tool in one place

Edit text, sign, annotate, add content, organize pages or merge files in one interface without an account. The PDF stays in browser memory and is not sent to a server for editing.

Clear functions and limits

SunPDF distinguishes objects it can edit from scans, flattened content, permissions, and complex PDF structures. The interface reports an unavailable operation instead of claiming that every PDF can be rebuilt exactly.

  • Edit existing text when it is editable
  • Add text, images, shapes, and signatures
  • Reorder, add, delete, or merge pages
  • Export a new copy of the document

Free and funded by advertising

SunPDF is entirely free and funded by advertising. Ads and audience measurement remain strictly separate from the content, filename and metadata of your documents.

Who builds SunPDF?

SunPDF is developed and maintained by Flavien PALLAS, who is also responsible for the service. The project prioritizes browser-based editing and free access to PDF functions. Report issues to contact@sunpdf.app with your browser, the operation and steps to reproduce it. Do not attach confidential documents.

How features are checked

The project uses reproducible synthetic documents to check text, images, pages and exports. Automated tests cover the PDF engine and browser workflows. These checks do not guarantee compatibility with every PDF: compare your export in another reader. Comprehensive manual Acrobat validation is still in progress.
